Catch a glimpse of the ocean as you drive down condo-lined Highway A1A or experience natural Florida living as you meander through Indian Harbour Beach’s palm tree-laden neighborhoods.

Indian Harbour Beach is a safe and quiet place to live. The city’s police force are also First Responders, equipped to handle emergency calls within a moment’s notice. The highly-trained fire department volunteers are always on-call and ready to come to the aid of their neighbors.

The beachside schools are known for their small class sizes. Ocean Breeze Elementary and the K-8 Indian Harbour Montessori are within the city limits—with nearby middle schools in Indialantic and Satellite Beach, and Satellite Beach High School just up the road.

Living in Indian Harbour Beach is convenient, too. Shopping, grocery stores, the Brevard County Tax Collector, and the Department of Motor Vehicles are no more than a couple of miles away, so you never have leave the island to get your business done.

Surrounded by water, it’s a given that Indian Harbour Beach is a boater’s delight. Dock your boat at one of the city’s three public marinas, or join the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, a private organization, which offers everything from black tie affairs to children’s summer camps.

Indian Harbour Beach is a tennis community. The private Kiwi Tennis Club, with its clay courts, offers recreational and pro tennis instruction. DeSoto courts in Satellite Beach offer a public tennis-playing option.

A popular saltwater fishing location, Indian Harbour’s beaches are clean, and a great place to look for sea turtles and observe pelicans and water birds. And, don’t forget the beach. Two city parks offer boardwalks, pavilions, and playgrounds. Fido is welcome to run and frolic in the sand at dog-friendly Canova Beach.

On the lagoon side, you’ll find 27-acre Gleason Park, with its competition-sized swimming pool, illuminated walking paths, and recreation center. Brevard County Oars & Paddles Park offers canoeing, kayaking, rowing, and is home to Space Coast Crew, a youth and adult rowing organization. In the center of the city—tucked within its residential confines—is the million-dollar Algonquin Sports Complex with its soccer fields and baseball diamonds.

Indian Harbour Beach is home to more than 40 restaurants, ranging from popular breakfast spots to upscale restaurants offering nouveau cuisine. The Eau Gallie Causeway, which marks the southern perimeter of this small town, leads directly to the Eau Gallie art district with its many galleries, antique shops, and art museum. Or, if you travel just a few minutes north, you’ll reach world famous Cocoa Beach—the Pier, Ron Jon’s Surf Shop, and Coconuts—for nightlife, music, and pubs.
